I just spoke with Russ from the Fret shop about my 6-string acoustic. He answered all my questions. I'm going to the Fret shop tomorrow. I was assured they could be of service. I look forward to the interaction. Just my customer standpoint, Russ answered all my questions. I will go see him tomorrow on the 8th of October. I expect great things. Today 10-10-2025: My guitar was perfectly strung with a lighter type of strings, that will enable me to apply less pressure and produce a better result. I have moderate nerve damage in my left hand, they understood and helped me acquire what I needed. In addition, everyone there is knowledgeable, courteous and patient. I bought a new strap and new picks as well. They complemented me on my Alvarez, but I watched very closely, and said, no no, mine, mine! Seriously, I am so glad I went there. I am just an amateur, but they are pros. They didn't treat me as an amateur, but as a new friend. Go see them!!!

Stopped by while in Huntsville. The staff was great. As a beginner I really appreciated Alex in the workshop walking me through lowering the action and adding a bone saddle to my purchase. Got a great deal on a used Yamaha acoustic/electric. They let me upgrade the gig bag and I was just really happy with the whole experience. Highly recommended.
